C.R.A.N.K. Mob

This past weekend, I rode with Los Angeles’ own C.R.A.N.K. Mob. If you have a bike and you weren’t there, you completely missed out. This was my first time riding with such a large group before. My cousin and I just stood after a while in awe staring at all of the dope bike that made us not want to look at ours.
If you’ve been following me on Twitter, they you heard about my bike troubles. I wont get into details but it was quite sad. Anyway, I took the opportunity to slightly rebuild my bike to come up with color concepts and this is one that I came up with. I have about 3 more colors I want to try on it before I pick a final one. I like turn out of this one.
We arrived at the meeting location around 9.20pm. Around 9.40, all you could see is just a flood of bike arriving for the ride. We didn’t ride out until about 10.30.
As you can see, this was a pretty lengthy ride but it was so much fun.
As we waited to began the ride, people just continued to arrive and everyone just mingled. I always thought that people at these ride all knew each other but it wasn’t like that at all. Just about every 10 minutes you were bound to make a new friend.
The crazy part that threw me off was when the police came and actually put their pig masks aside. They help block of traffic so we could ride through intersections. It was quite surprising to say the least.
Also ran into some people I knew too.

All and all, it was one of the best rides I’ve ever been on. If you missed out this month, make sure to catch it next month. It’s just going to get bigger and better.
